What Vietnamese programs do we have at Apple Tutorings | |

We provide professional tutoring at our venue for a group from 3 to 5 learners who want to learn Vietnamese Language. We can provide the training at your company at an agreed convenient time if there is a training need for more than 6 learners
We provide the face-to-face tutoring in the following levels
Tourist:
Has no knowledge of the language and wants to know simple words and phrases for a short visit to Vietnam
Beginner:
Has no knowledge of the language and wants to begin a course of study
Intermediate:
Has the ability to understand simple sentences and wants to improve in vocabulary
Advanced:
Has the ability to understand most conversations and wants to correct any persistent grammar or pronunciation errors
Home speaker:
Has some ability after learning the language at home from parents or relatives and wants to build stronger writing and speaking skills

How many learners are there in one class? | |
|
|
|
There are maximum 5 students in one class during 2-hour session
|
|
|
|
Class time: | |
|
|
|
Saturday 9-11am or Saturday 1.30pm-3.30pm
Sunday 12pm-1:30pm
We allow you to swap the class time if it suits all the students in the same class and the tutor
This course consists of one 2-hour class on the same day/night every week for 10 weeks

What about the tutor? | |
|
|
|
The tutor is an experienced linguist/teacher who has many years of teaching both English and Vietnamese to Australians. She has a PhD in Translation and has presented papers in many international conferences. She is currently teaching Vietnamese at Sydney Community College
The tutor is a native speaker, and will not only teach you Vietnamese but also many fascinating things about Vietnam.

What accent? | |
|
|
|
The tutor speaks Southern accent, but she will teach, speak and read in both accents (Northern accent and Southern accent) whenever a new expression is introduced. The reason for this is to facilitate the learners so they can speak and listen in both accents
|
|
|
|
Tuition | |
|
|
|
The tuition includes a copy of our text book or materials handed out throughout the course.
The payment can be paid in full at the beginning for 10 weeks or can be paid per lesson.
